Full-Time MBA alumni surveyed by Bloomberg Businessweek

(Davis, Calif.) — UC Davis Full-Time MBA alumni rate the program among the best in the world for their "education emphasizing innovation and creativity," according to Bloomberg Businessweek’s global survey.

The UC Davis MBA program ranked No. 26 on the question of putting ideas into action, a testament to the curriculum design, teaching, extra-curricular activities and other opportunities at the Graduate School of Management and across the UC Davis campus.

New Quarterly Updates from Bloomberg

Released on Tuesday, September 10, 2019, the results are the third in series of quarterly updates from data from Bloomberg Businessweek's Best B-Schools surveys. The surveys are the foundation of their annual full-time MBA rankings (see below).

Bloomberg Businessweek surveyed 15,050 MBA alumni, an increase of more than 50 percent over their last survey. They asked MBA grads at 126 business schools around the world to rate the power of their school’s alumni network, reputation, academic quality, entrepreneurship and innovation.

For scoring, they normalized using all surveyed schools, and displayed the 30 schools that scored best in several alumni insight categories.

Five University of California MBA programs were among the top 30 based on alumni responses to: "My education emphasized innovation and creativity." UC Davis scored 71.19 out of 100 maximum points in this category.

"Of the leading 10 schools in this list, only three were in the Top 10 of Bloomberg Businessweek’s global rankings," the editors noted. "This suggests that, from an alumni perspective, there’s a lot of quality education across the map."
